Classic Trials competition, Greendale Classic Trial, Ridgens Farm. Greendale Rd, off Bealy Rd, Darfield. Canterbury, held on May 2nd 2010.
The 9 section 4 lap course was well marked out / designed by Mel Banks, Peter Barnett and Rob Stowell.
The Trial started prompt at 10am, 35 riders, a sunny, warm day and a challenging course; in all, a recipe for great trial.
Sections 1 - 5 on the near bank, set the rule for the day, it was going to be long day.
Section 6 the shingle hollow nicked quite a few marks, section 7 at the far end looked tricky but rode ok and 8 the slalom course through the trees with tight tricky turns on tree roots caused a few problems
The say you should leave the best too last, well section 9, with a high bank to climb, tight turns, then back down and then tight tricky turns on lose shingle did the trick and nicked quite a few marks.

Another brilliant day of classic motorcycle trials in Canterbury.
