New Date for Mick Andrews New Zealand Tour
Mick's old injury has caught up with him again. So his trip to see us in New Zealand in February 2010 is off. Robert Cochrane (www.britishdirt.co.nz) talked to Mick on Monday night, the arm problems he has been having (after 3 operations) have been traced to his neck and he is due for an operation around this coming Xmas-Jan. The good news is he will be able to see us in 2011 and stay for up to a month.
The new proposed Mick Andrew New Zealand Tour 2011 will run from early Feb to early March with plans to include Christchurch, Hamilton, Wellington and Wanganui all subject to funding support. It is envisaged to include training and trials in each area plus a Classic/Twinshock Miniature TT finale in Wanganui.
We all wish Mick a speedy recovery.

Classic Trials competition, AMBERLEY Classic Trial Greenwoods Bridge, off Amberley Beach Rd, Canterbury held on Sep 6th 2009.
The course was marked out / designed by Kevin, Wayne, Alan, Gary, and Steve, this comprised 8 sections in all, with 4 laps.
The Trial started prompt at 10am with around 35 riders and a good crowd of spectators, we all enjoyed the sunshine, some tricky sections, and of course the two river sections! I have been promised the results and will post them with some more photos as soon as I can. It's great to see a wide selection of bikes especially all the pre 65s and some great twinshock specials.
